Run, Rabbit, Run!

Rabbit Netting final
Work in progress. Illustration about rabbit netting in North Pembrokeshire, circa 1938.
This was a simple way of trapping rabbits to sell to a local merchant, who in turn would place them on the train, ultimately to be sold in city markets further up the line.

To catch them, the boy would be encouraged to run around the perimiter of a field with nuts and bolts in his pocket with the aim of scaring and chasing the rabbits down the field and into a large fishing net set up at the bottom.
